Controllers,controllers, controllers!!
What is the best controller for the $$$. I am in the market for a controller that will keep tabs on what the parameters of my tank are. I dont care to spend $600 on the aqua pro controller but it is worth the price? Id like to be sent a message if something in my tank is screwed up but a aqua controller jr is $400 less is it really worth $400 to be given a text message?? Whats your opinion?

if your not home or nearby and can get home to fix the problem why spend $400 to have a message sent to you saying there is a problem.

I agree with that I travel alot for pleasure and would hate to have a trip ruined because there was a "problem" at home. I worry enough about my tank when I am away. Is that the only "advantage" or "disadvantage" of a aqua controller pro or III?

I have an Aquacontroller Jr and it's awesome. Best investment I've made for my reef besides a tank and water. It's only $225 now with the DC8. You can't lose. I get email updates twice daily with my tank stats and can also view them 24/7 anywhere in the world via the web. Priceless for vacations.

I think the aquatronica also seems quite nice.
