Black Sea Slug?

I saw what looks to be a black sea slug in my 6g nano last night. Will it bother my corals? I mostly have softies and zoas.

Can't tell from the picture, but my guess is that it is a flat worm of some sort, or could possibly be a keyhole limpet as well.

Is there a shell under the black mantle with a tiny hole at the top of the fleshy part? If so probably a keyhole limpet. (it looks like there could possibly a shell but hard to tell) - these are generally harmless grazers

Does it not have any kind of hard structurer to it, and just seems to ooze about changing shape? If so a flat worm of some species.. check here for info and for many photos of various species. Flat worms are very diverse in feeding habits, some are predatory, and an exact identification is extremely difficult, if it is a flat worm my advice is to get rid of it, especially if you notice things dissappearing.

The more I look at that picture though the more it appears that I can see an outline of a shell. especially that darker circular band around it, leading me to believe that it is probably a keyhole limpet.

i agree. looks like a Scutus sp. for sure. they are limpets, and are usually algae grazers.
