foam good or bad?

I have 2 aquaclear 150 running on my 29. I read posts about removing the foam completely. I do have nitrates between 20-40ppm.

1. Remove the foam completely?

2. Rinse the foam more often and how often?

3. If I remove the foam should there be any other media I should put in there? (I have carbon running one one and chemipure on the other)

I don't have the biomax in there as well because there is about 45lbs of LR in the tank.

IME....keep teh faom in there...BUT...clean at least once a week...rinse in the old saltwater from your weekly water change.....
