Question tank support, stand support?

I bought a second story condo. As soon as I find out where the X beams are and where the main wall is I want to settup a 240 gallon acrylic reef. It'll have at least a 60 gallon sump/fuge therefore an easy 300 gallons. 7 pounds per gallon....add materials and rock and sand... thats an easy 3000 pounds. A TON AND A HALF!

Now here is where the fun comes in. The tank is old and the stand is old by about 9-10 years.

1:I want to support the stand more with 2x4s and etc.. Whats the best way? Any advise?

2: The tank will be covering 8X2 feet on the floor. 16 square feet. Thats about 190 pounds per square foot.I was thinking on adding a wood board that would cover 12'X4' which would make it cover 48 square feet which is about 63 pounds per square foot. Any advise?

3: Most important. The tank was stupidly left outside of the storage unit for a few weeks "not going to get into it about who left it out but it wasn't me." My only hopes is that it will still be ok. It's very thick acrylic and has always had this little chip on the bottom front right side corner. "It's been filled and ran for over a year with the chip, what you think?"

Thanks for everyones help and advise, I don't know what I would do without this website!
