calcium deposits inside mixing barrel?
Some kind of tanish crust is starting to build up inside my mixing barrel. I thought it may have been calcium build up but I haven't seen anything like it inside my tank. Does anyone else have anything like this in their mixing tubs?

I used to until I dropped a modded MJ in there. Now I don't think any salt makes it to the bottom without being dissolved.
It seems to be caused by the super high concentration of calcium etc. right where the salt is dissolving. |

You probably already know this, but add salt to water, never water to salt.
