I finally killed an aiptasia!
I have tried very unsuccessfully to kill aiptasia in the past using the vinegar method. During my last water test, I noticed my pH was a little high, so I thought "here's my opportunity to blast the sucker with some vinegar!" So I redirected my PH flow to limit the water movement by the aiptasia, heated up the vinegar in the microwave (thought it might help ) and filled a pipette. Very slowly apprached it and blasted it with the vinegar. Did it a second time once it has retracted a little into its hole and I filled up the hole with the vinegar. 2 days now and one dead aiptasia! YAY!!!!! Just thought I'd share, I'm very proud that I was able to win the battle over a tiny invertabrate. One down, seven more to go...
