I have 2 in my 90 gallon frag tank. They work great, have a neat swirling pattern thrown off the front of them. Kinda large overall though. Sorry, no pics.

just got the koralia 4 and I love it. Amazing flow, I can replace all my other power sucking powerheads and replace it with two of these and i'm golden. Great pump and I disagree when people say its big. Its not big at all for the amount of flow it produces. People compare it to a MJ which only pumps 275 gph, after mods its twice the size of a Koralia 4. Get one believe me you won't go wrong.

I love mine. If you use it on a wavemaker just make sure it is one that only lowers the power to the koralia and does not switch it off completely. If it does switch the unit off there are 2 things that can happen.
1.) it rattles a little when starting up
2.) a fish can go inside while it is off and will get chopped up nicely when it turns back on

one more item of interest - I have 2 in a 75 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump and the water temp has not gone up at all from them

One more, the K4 has a 12W motor not 8.5W, The Hydor site already updated the info but most dealers still use the wrong data.

I don't have a picture of it in action, only one below which compares my Tunze Nanostream 6025 to my Hydor K4:

The 6025 is modded to have a shorter nozzle and wider flow, along with a mod to increase the flow, it pumps out 1,250gph while drawing 7W, and the K4 is also modded to have a bigger prop on a MJ1200 magnet, it is pumping out about 1,400gph while drawing 16W.

1/2". the nozzle is also modded, the stock 6025 nozzle is 1/2" smaller in diameter.

Yes you should have seen my face after I opened my K4 box. I thought my 6025s were too big.

One other important fact, the 6025 magnet holder is stronger, can probably handle 3/4" glass, and the K4 has trouble holding on to my 1/2" glass. It works but barely.

I am not trying to knock on the K4s. It is a great pump for the money, trouble free so far (though the K2s and K3s had some scary moment). The 6025s have continued issues with lose shafts from the first batch of shipment, even the 6045s which supposedly had caught up with the fix still show up with similar problem once in a while. Though I think Tunze is working hard on a good fix.

Part of the cause IMO is the 60XXs have fixed shafts, where as the Koralias have removable shafts which eliminates such concern.

TunzeUSA has one of the best customer service records, and so far I believe Hydor has shown their outstanding CS as well.

Thanks for the tip on the magnet I will save myself the trouble of putting the 4 in my 120 to try it out. I think Santa needs to bring me a 6055 for xmas only because I want the controller.
