6 month update (pics)
This is 6 months after starting over after I moved. The rock is 3 years old, so it's not quite a complete do over. After being used to a nice tank, the 8 weeks I let the tank settle in with new water was very hard. I am now getting it together again. I don't think I'm going to add anymore until I see what kind of growth I have. Of course if there's a coral or 1 more fish I have to have, I don't have the will power to not get it. It's even harder since I have to drive by a great LFS everday going home from work, but I only have to do that 9 more times before I retire. Any comments welcome (even bad ones).

I just read in another thread that brains should be in the sand bed. Should I put my favia in the sand?

Thanks. Now I have to wait for all the growth.

They normally do better on the sand bed.(brains)
Very nice setup by the way. How's the flame hawk doing? I love that fish, great personality. Is your clown hosting? |

Thanks frederickk. I'll put the favia in the sand. I love the flame hawk, I've only had him for about a week and is already becoming my favorite fish ever. The clowns rotate between hosting the nem and frogspawn. I'm glad because if that nem eats another fish or stings a coral, he's gone. I think he ate a bundoon blenny already, so he's on a short leash.

Absolutely gorgeous tank, Mark. The first pic really shows off the colors. Nicely done.

Thanks Drummereef. The curved glass makes it very difficult to get a good pic.
