Question is the Chcalite chip star fish dead?

I boght a chcalite chip star on sunday. he seemed to be dooing fine until today. His chacalit chips are groopy and he has a cut on his arm. And he has not mooved today. Is he dead?

I cant comment on if he is dead as I dont know but did you acclimate him using the drip method for about 4 hours as shifts in salinity / ph are a sure way of an early demise for these creatures.
Dont be offended if you already know this as just seeing you have 41 posts might be you are fairly new to the hobby.
