AquaEuro Classic 250 Skimmer Help!
I just got my skimmer settup in my sump and within 10 minutes the collection cup was entirely full. The problem is just fills to fast for the outlet to let the water out. I had the pipe as low as it would go originally when it filled, I tried emptying it and raising the pipe and like I thought it filled up in about 1 minute's time. I put it back to as low as it would go and it filled again. Could someone please help.

Try to either cut back the air flow into the venturi or open it up all the way......depends on what you are doing now

I figured out I had it in to deep of water, which means I have to redesign my sump and cut some new glass. What is a good depth to have, I am now guessing around 7 inches but I would like a second opinion before I waste more time and money.

I believe that 6-8 inches is correct, but check out the classic 400 thread to be sure. You could also simply raise the skimmer up on a platform instead of making all sorts of changes to make sure that is the problem. A cheap plastic basket would work

Unfortunatly I am a noob and built the sump listening to a friend, so the water level was 14 inches in the protein skimmer section, I tried to raise it but then I can no longer get the collection cup off since its underneath my stand. Oh well, the whole thing is a big learning process
