Future stocking list for 100 gallon tank
When I hopefully get my 100 gallon on christmas I am thinking about these fish. The tank will be 48" long x 25" wide x 20" tall. It will only have softies.
Current fish Pair of nemos One yellow damsel One spotted foxface Wanted fish White cheek tang Sailfin tang Lawnmower blenny Bi-colour blenny Randal's goby Panda goby Orange spotted sleeper Other fish if the ones wanted are not compatible Firefish Bangai cardinal (pair?) Blue tang Clean up crew 4 cleaner shrimp (might have 5 in total if I get one for my current tank) 10 Astrea snails 10 Cerith snails 10 Blue legged hermits I will get more when I need to. I already have 9 hermits and 1 snail. Oh yeah, 100 pounds of LR, 2" sand bed, and 30 gallon sump/refuge. |

The fish under "Other fish if wanted are not compatible" are "back up" fish incase the "wanted fish" don't do well together.

Okay, first off i would up the ammount of rock that you are planning on to 150 lbs. Second, gobies don't like each other, so i would maybe go with a firefish, and one sand-dweller (note that firefish can be shy in the presence of active fish like tangs). Also as far as tangs you might get away with a sailfin for quite some time as they aren't very active( they constantly pick the rocks, don't swim laps in the tank like powder blues do). I would only put one tang in a 100 gallon. The foxface and the pair of clowns would be good, and the bangais too. Spend some money and get a really good skimmer though, because you will have a hefty bio load. I Hope this helps. Oh, ditch the damsel too... feisty little s**ts.
