bulkhead size question

I need to do some plumbing redesign on the back of my tank and need to replace a bulkhead. Right now I have a bulkhead in it but have no idea what size it is. There is some 1 1/2 inch PVC connected to it, but its connected inside the threaded part (slip joint) if I'm explaining that correctly. In essence, the hole for the bulkhead is slightly larger than the OD of the PVC, so something like 2-3/8 to 2-1/2.

Any idea?

thanks

Bulkheads are sized according the size PVC that fits them. If the pvc says 1.5", then that's what size bulkhead you need. They don't all require the same size hole though, so make sure to check your tank's hole diameter.

Is there no way to salvage it? Big ones like that are $.
