Wondering if there is a quieter pump...
I have a Panworld 100PX-X running as a return on the 120 in my living room. It is quiet, but I can hear it (maybe I am just listening for it more than I should) and I wanted to know if anyone had another suggestion for a quieter return pump.
My requirements: 1000 gph @ 4 ft head minimum (maximum 1200) 1" intake/output preferred (I already have it plumbed that way) External only Little heat transfer as possible Silent (or as quiet as I can get) The stand that the current pump is in is acrylic and fully enclosed on all 4 sides. I may just be getting an echo or a drumming effect from the way the stand is constructed (the bottom is hollow in 3 sections). I do have a foam mouse pad under the pump. I run a Reeflo Dart and a Snapper on the other 2 tanks and have to actually touch the dart to make sure it is running it is so quiet, but Sequence doesn't make a smaller pump for my application. What about the Iwaki pumps? Pricey, but if they run silent it will be worth it to me. Thanks in advance for your experience and suggestions.

Why not get another Sequence pump and put a valve on the outlet of the pump to regulate flow? That's what I did on my Amp Master, nothing better than the sound of silence.
