water storage
My question is this. I remeber reading that if you are mixing your own water and storing it in garbage cans they need to be food safe. I forget what is the designation on the can that tells you that its food/reef safe?
thanks |

HDPE (High-density polyethylene) is a safe plastic to use. Rubbermaid Brute trashcans are safe and used often along with empty salt buckets.

thanks fellas but I remember seeing a post about this same question and I vividly remember there being some sort of designation on the bottom. I have access to free new garbage cans from my father's business just want to make sure I get the right ones!!
