wow, probably holds as much water as my whole system, BTW I found one for $13,064...maybe I can use it to skim my tank and rent it out to skim all of my neighbors tanks at the same time...haha

awsome.

if i had a 1500g tank 16k would not be that much to protect the tank.

i was recently quoted about 24k for a 275g custom built Deltec tank complete with all the equipment.

who needs savings.....

Wow, thats pretty crappy air draw for such an expensive skimmer.

The $500 Red Dragons are getting 3000lph on like 30w. 9000l/h for 770w isnt so great.

and the new squence orca is turining some heads or poop in this case.

I agree too much money for that skimmer.

That does look like a very good skimmer. But currently I have no job and a total of $50 saved up (i'm only 14), so it might be a while before I #1) have enough for that skimmer and #2) have enough money for a tank big enough to need that skimmer.

The Spazz brand look good as well. There are several good skimmers out there. They are expensive!!! I don't think I could ever afford such a system that would require such a skimmer though. I would like to see some of those BIG tanks.

I was thinking of going with one of three models from deltec: AP600, MC500, or the MCE500. Does anyone have any experience with these models? Could I find better units from ER?

The Deltec AP2602 did wonders for my HA problem on my 20g reef.

Honestly if I had a big tank,a fish room, and the cash, I'd have one.

Trust me....If I had the time and the money to start a tank that required a skimmer of that magnitude....I would defenitly be capable and willing to buy such a skimmer so that my investment was well taken care of.

what a truly poor skimmer that was, no foam action in the collection cup, it was all water and at 6000gph there goes the neighborhood!!!

Seriously did you see the collection cup, all water! no skimmate at all!
What a poor video, if that was ment to impress me and make me want to run out and buy one I t didn't.
Heck for 16k, I could hire someone to do water changes weekly and never need to run a skimmer!!

TBH the most impressive thing I saw was the auto cleaning setup. Gonna have to try that out on my diy orca monster.
