Cleaner wrasse????
I bought this fish about a month ago fully expecting him to die after my ich problem went away. I know it may not be ethical, but when I think of all the money I spent on the other fish, $15 was worth it.
At first he picked all of the fish clean, but now he is more of an annoyance to the other fish. I looked at pictures of both mimic and true cleaner wrasse and can make a case for both. I am having a hard time getting a picture of his mouth, but I have 2 close up shots that are pretty decent. Can anyone positively ID this???? He now eats mysis and brine, shocked me. He is alive for about 2 months now. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Roy G. Biv; 05/09/2007 at 07:59 PM. |

Ive had cleaner wrasses live in large tanks for over a year, and I have watched them feed on things other than the wide bodied fish.
