lighting help

do you guys think i should go with 6x54w t-5s or 8x54w in a 90g..i know more is better but will 6 be just as good

6 would be fine if you plan on keeping softies and maybe a few sps corals. If you are planning an lps tank I would go with 8.

6, 8 is over kill.. I use to keep LPS with great success in a 75g with only 6 T5's and the tank flurished.. People here on RC will always try and talk you into more light. Unless you have clams or something like that you dont need 8
