Phosphate Reactor Clogging
My phosphate reactor keeps clogging up with material. My hair algae keeps dissengrating, and I have some floss upstream to catch most of the crud.
Is there a small canister filter (easy to clean, etc.) that I could use to catch the smaller debris before it hits? Any recommendations?

Keep removing the algae thats gets stuck in the filter. Take a look at the small Tom Aquatics canister at www.marinedepot.com but I think you may run into the same clogging problem with is that you are having with the current filter(s).

if you feed it with a maxijet you could add their prefilter on the pump that should do the trick.
