Coralife Super Skimmer
Hi all, I have a 125g super skimmer for about 6 mths now, and the pump is making an aweful grinding noise. I took out the impeller, everything looked good, cleaned it up, its quieter now, but still noisy, is there a better pump I can buy to replace it with, thinking maybe a gen-x or something, anyone have any suggestions?

The pump is the key to this skimmer. You will need to get a needlewheel pump to achieve good results.

The GenX2400 is about the same size pump as well as the OTP2000. You could also find just about any pump that is rated for about 500gph and mod it to make it a meshwheel pump.
