Quiet stand pipe for Eshopps overflow?

Anybody out there have a Eshopps overflow? I need to find a stand pipe to fit in the back to quiet it down. I only have about 2.5x3.5 inches to work with and the total depth is 9 inches but I woulndnt be able to go the total 9 maybe 6-7 inches high.

Forgot to mention that the overflow is a Eshopps 1200 dual tube model

You have to be careful with HOB standpipe design. A siphon works by the difference in height between the high (tank side) and low (outside box drain level) water levels. Putting in a taller stand pipe raises the drain side and decreases the siphon.
