My wife went to the beach and brought back tons of sea shells, i was woundering if putting them in my reef tank would be ok?

I would leave outside in the sun for a day or 2 then rinse off you should be alright.

Boil them for like half an hour, change the water, repeat. It'll kill anything growing and hopefully leech out any pollutants

dido boil....I like keeping shells in the aquarium, helps with buffering of ph, calc...and looks

my wife and daughter did the same thing.. Sea Shells from Pensacola beach. my diamond goby LOVES them.. he builds little forts with them..
