Question about snails and LR?

Another thread triggered this question. I have fully cured LR in 20g containers waiting to be put in my main tank. The tank will not be built until a few months from now due to renovation of the house. I have 3 Turbo and 5 Nassarius snails in each tank. Do I need to drop some food in there once in awhile? I know the Turbos will eat the algae but what about the Nassarius? I don't see them eating the poop of the Turbos.

If it is good quality LR they will find plenty of food in the curing vats.
