mixing baking soda and water

ok so im making the 2 part diy doser and i cant seem to get the baking soda to mix with the water. I have read to heat the water up and that could help but its still not mixing very well( over 30 minutes of mixing). Am i stirring it in the wrong direction or what anyone have any other little clues as to an easier way to do this? help

did you add the baking soda all at once, or a little at a time? the first time i mixed it i added it all at once and it took a while to mix up. the last time i mixed it i added it some what slower and it mixed up a lot easier.

did you bake the baking soda first, one of the recipes calls for that and I believe that mixes better. However it is stronger.

The baking is to remove the CO2 in the baking soda.

Mixing it slowly a little at a time works much better.

I have to add it very slowly to my water to get it to completely dissolve. The first time I did the same thing and it ended up clumping at the bottom of the container.

Yes, just add a couple tablespoons at a time and shake after each addition. Even so, it still takes quite a while to mix up.
