RO/DI Question
I am finally getting a Ro/DI system (this one ) and had a question about the waste water. Is this water still safe for things like water the yard or the intial stages of curing DiY rock?

Absolutely. It has been through a sediment filter and a carbon filter so it is suitable for just about anything. It will be 20 to 25% higher in TDS than tap water but will have had any chlorine and volatile organic chemicals removed so its even good fro drinking.

just the person I was hoping would reply. I thought it would be safe for most things but wanted to check. I thought I had even heard about a way of using it in the washing machine, might have to research that.
I haven't told the wife about the waste to useful ratio yet ><

I have the waste water from my RO/DI going to the plants in my yard, haven't killed them yet ;-)
Since I was filling my 125, figured it would be a big waste to send all all of the "flush" water down the drain. |

I use it in my washing machine with no negatives. Make sure you remember it's draining into there because there's no overflow on a washing machine and you can flood your house.
