I"m going to take the plunge... 100 gallons

ok i'm going ot do it.

i got a 100 gallon tank and stand from my cousin and i'm going to finally set it up. i need to know what i need. i do have a 18 gallon tank right now with a 150 24" sunpod and a 96w PC light.
well this is what i have.

24" 150 W SUNPOD
20" 96W corallife

what else do i need to get this started besides water. how many and what's the best type of powerheads to get?

i'm not going to put sand in it... I want to see if i can make some money with this tank

He means its going to be a barebottom prop tank.
I use maxi jets and hydor korrila powerheads. My reasoning is that they are not that expensive and get the job done. My fav powerhead is a maxijet with a hydor flo wave maker on it

You need more light, i have both those fixtures on my 40 gal system. The coralife light is the worst, IMO total crap, maybe a different brand bulb in it would be a different story.
How deep is this tank? That will be a good indicator of what lighting to use. If your thinking about proping sps i would use multiple MH's. Do your research on aquaculture and the species you intend to prop before you spend any money.
