Reef Tank over past 12 months and a few coral id's

Well i woudl first like to start off by getting some input on my tank progression and any input on aquascaping that i presently have....

This is right after cycling last june 06

This is when i got my LR, Buna and Kaelini, in septempter 06

When i got my Lights, Tek T5 4 bulb 216 watts, in October 06

This is present day tank, I wan tto rework the rock but it is a 55G so it is difficult , any ideas?. Wish i had money and wasnt a poor broke college boy.

And now Some coral Ids Please
Both of them, the brown one and the green one?

AND IF POSSIBLE THESE TWO

Hormi, the last one is ANacropora on the right. (the one with the spaced apart polyps and the growth tips shaped more like Monti d)

yeah, I see there's an Acropora to the left there too now.

Those zoas look like what people are calling "Fire & Ice" zoas. I have some very similar ones in my tank.

whoa! You can keep acropora under t5s? 216 watts seem too few to keep some of those corals. How are they doing?

Where have you been the last 5 years? Also, don't go by watts, T5s with good individual reflectors and quality bulbs will allow you to grow just about anything and can rival MH with a higher watt output. Lastly, just because something is Acropora doesn't mean it has to be blasted with light. They're just about the most diverse genus out there when it comes to the variety of conditions and depths they can be found at.

T5's have great par readings and cf and peter is right, individual reflectors create a very powerful bulb.

Cann that fixture fit under standard canopies, or can it be mounted?

I think the deimensions would allow it to fit in most canopies, however you're better off buying retrofits at that point since you can get better reflectors like the Icecap and save a little money. You can fit 6 bulbs and reflectors in a 18" wide tank with a little room to spare. If you're interested check out reefgeek.com and the SLS retrofits, if you go this direction just make sure to upgrade to the Icecap refelctors for a few bucks more.

Nice looking Monti. I believe its a Montipora Palawenensis
BTW ( not the digiata one of course). Can you tell what color the polyps are between the nodules? They look purpleish to me.
