Brine vs Mysis Shrimp
What is the difference between these two and is one better than the other? I have 2 clowns and a damsel.

Mysis shrimp is more desirable of the two. Brine is like shrimp candy. Not much in the area of nutrients.

Mysis is definitely better than brine. Brine shrim does not have a lot of nutritiene unless baby and live. mysis is a lot more healhier. Feeding brine is okay, just dont make that the main diet.

^^ ditto. my fishes always prefer brine to mysis, much like children likes ice-cream over carrots. haha
You may want to drain off the water in the mysis/brine cube after thawing. |

Brine shrimp get a bad reputation, but nutritionally they are fine if grown properly. Mysid shrimp seem to have better nutritional profiles in terms of fat content, but a mixture of the two is probably better than either alone.
