Gah! Just broke my glass top -- anyone cut glass cheap?
I just broke the "feeding" portion of my glass top for my 5.5 AGA.
I just need another piece of glass, 16" long and 1.87" wide (47 mm)...I salvaged the handle and can glue it onto the new piece. Anyone know of a cheap glass cutter around the West LA area or can cut this small piece of glass for me? Thanks! By the way, this is the glass top. I just broke the smaller portion with the handle. http://store.seacorals.net/agaaqglcawip.html |

Your best bet would be to order the new top, unless you can find someone generous enough to do it for free... or cheap. Maybe offer some frags or something in return, otherwise, it would probably cost just as much to have a glass shop cut a new piece.

Yea, that's what I was thinking...shipping is as much as the damn glass top itself!
