after cycle / live rock

is it ok to add live rock after tank cycle? could i add the live rock few at a time or will it affect the chemistry of the tank and require more additional cycle time?

if the tank is already cycled then it is best to cure the LR in a seperate tub before placeing it into the main tank just so you don't start another mini cycle

so i have to set up a new bucket with a power head a heater and a good saltmix right?

does this tub/bucket have to cycle or just mix the salt add the powerhead and drop the live rock in it?

and how long to keep it in there for?

I personally would add base rock to an established tank rather than new live rock.

the tank already has base rock at the bottom, and live rock on top of it. i was thinking of adding more live rock on top cause the tank seems to be empty on the top part.

I add live rock now and again to my 54g, and as long as it's a fist-sized piece, no problem.

thats what i had in mind, since my tank is huge i thought of adding a few very small pieces now and then ... just to fill up some empty spaces.
