snow?

New here have a question my tank is cycled but now i have small smaller than suger flakes in my water column what could this be?

Are you getting enough circulation? What kind of flow do you have in the tank? Can you get some pictures?

probably the substrate....if its still cycling maybe the substrate hasn't gotten the bacteria in it yet

put a filter pad in last night removed this morning ther multiplying like some kind of bug or something.

some attach to the glass saw a few that were sqiggly like worms.

Yes pics would help.

I saw the thread labeled as snow and instantly high Cal levels come to mind.

Call me a wretch but I love seeing tanks when Cal has been spiked to 800 and its like a snowglobe.....in OTHERS tanks.

Probably just the substrate settling
