mushroom coral

i have a green hairy mushroom and was fraging the rock and by accident i cut a little piece of the mushroom. will it still live?

it'll be fine. You can chop it up and it'll still live. They're pretty hard to kill.

fragging the rock?

LOL - usually people frag the 'shrooms and not the rocks, but whatever. aznImpulse was speaking of the coral. Both the original piece and the one you cut off should live.

i have a nano and wanted to split a the rock into4 piece because it was too big for my nanoand had 4 different color corals. it had 2 different zoas it had a yellow zoas colony with 70+ zoos, some toxic green zoas 60+ zoos, big piece of gsp and 3 big hairy mushrooms.
