Best Lighting for 29 gallon
Hi there. I'm new to this forum and fairly new to having my own saltwater tank.
My 29 gallon is about a year old and I'm only into fish only and crushed coral, because I haven't had the money yet to buy coral. I have a pro. fish tank friend (sets up and maintains in doctors offices) who keeps promising to help set me up any day now with rock from his many, many tanks in his home cross town. Back to the question... what's the best and most affordable lighting you would all recomend for a tall "29 gallon" tank (I just say 30 when people ask, it's 30" wide I believe) that has fish and soon will have live rock. Thanks, Tim ![]() |

what corals do you plan on keeping? that will decide what kind of lighting you need. if your just going to add live rock then the lights you have now will be fine. if you are going to add coral, tell us what kind you want and then we can decide what kind of lights you will need.
