Coralline on Lalo Rock
A few months ago I bought 30 lbs of Lalo from LA - it's currently in a 40g breeder tank. My problem is because of other expenses I've had to skimp on my lighting and as a result, the coralline on my rock has really suffered. It's pretty much all turning white. It's really been killing me not to have adequate lights and I've really dug deep to fix it as soon as possible. Right now the rock is under just 20w, basically nothing. I should have new lights over my tank in a week or so - God willing!
Does anyone know if the coralline will grow back under the new lights or is it going to be permanently color challenged? |

It depends on how far gone it is at the point when you get the lights going. If you keep your tank params good you should she a rebound in coralline shortly.

Thanks for the reply, Barbra and Ice. I found a little more info about this in the archives and I now feel a little better about the coloration.
Thanks again! -Ryan |
