Phosphate Reactor
I just installed a phosphate reactor and I've read on here not to lower your phosphates too quickly. How should I control that? Is it by simply not running it all day long at first? If it is, how long should I run it for today and how long should I increase the time by?

Never heard that, Turn it on and let it go! takes awhile to lower your phosphates so it's not going to be a problem.

I have heard that before, but everything I saw said not to use too much media at first.

adding a phasban reactor full of media is like doing a 60% waterchange without the side effects.
