Skimmer suggestion
Hi Gang,
After having been pretty much out of the hobby for the last 2 years, I am finally getting started again. I have an opportunity that I think is about too good to pass up. I have the chance to buy a 240 Truvu (cheap) and would like some suggestions as to what skimmer would be able to handle it and which one people think are the best and why. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin |

Depends on your bioload. If you figure fish only or medium to medium-high bioload, go with the BM200 $549. If you plan on heavy to extra heavy bioload or SPS dominated tank, step up to the BM250 $769 instead like RS recommended. The Bubblemaster skimmers are some of the best performance skimmers in this lower price range. A comparative needlewheel skimmer is about twice the price.
