white bulbs with fuzzy hair like openings growing all over
Hi all,
I have these smalll white bulbs with fuzzy hair like openings groing all over my tank and refugium. Even in dark areas. I think it was a hitchhiker from a piece of LR. The scrub off eash but I think my scrubbing made them spread. Any ideas what it is? Will post a photo soon. Thanks, Mike |

I once had a ton of them the first few months after I set up my aquarium, I don't see them as often anymore now that my tank has matured. I don't think you can have "too many" as they are completely safe, but a lot of them may not look right if they are in the main tank. Mine were mostly on the the sides of my sump.

When they run out of whatever they're eating there will be less of them. New tanks have little blooms of various things, nothing to worry about.
