worm ?

does anybody know what this is. it was on my live rock well It didn't move for 24 hours so I think it died in the cycle.

those pics are way to fuzzy to get an ID from, but its a bristle worm of some kind. look through this page and see if anything looks like it.

can worms servive during the main cycle of your system at setup?

so there is nothing I can put in the tank well there is no livestock init to kill all the worms?

the only thing in the tank now is live sand and live rock

You don't want to kill the worms... they're very benifitial to the tank. I've got some that are monsters... about six inches long. They keep the tank clean of debris, and are not harmful to anything in the tank.
