Question about sealing stand.

I want to seal my stand for my 500 gallon tank.Anyone see any problems using this............

How many coats would you guys do? The website recommends three coats.

That product is fine to use...two coats would be better coverage. The solids are probably at 45% so some of the sealant will evaporate(its water based sealer)
