tons of baby snails

I have a ton of baby snails all over the glass and sand. What can I expect? Is this good or bad for my tank?

They are probably not baby snail it sounds like collonista snails and that is as big as they get. They are common hitchhikers on live rock and benificial. They don't harm clams. Pyramidella (sp?) are the ones that harm clams.
