Was wondering are there any kinds of corals that dont need alot of high expensive lights and perfect water conditions. Something thats simple and easy would be great.thanks

leathers, shrooms, zoas and xenia all need little light and grow reasonably fast.

Ill add green star polyps (GSP) to the above list. note though that xenia and gsp can grow like weeds if you get it right and you'll have to trim back once in a while. it's okay though, you can always sell or give away excess to locals or your lfs.

leathers, xenia and gsp are all pretty cheap. zoos can be very expensive but can be cheap too. depends on what colour the zoos are.

all are pretty easy imo. the easiest of them all is shrooms though so i would start with a few of those. not the hairy or bumpy ones, just the flat round ones. blues shrooms are a bit more light hungry than other shrooms if you want them to keep their metallic blue colour, but still pretty easy imo.
