I have a 6500 and it's working pretty good, when I asked about summersible pumps it came down to ocean runners and ehiems.

Superb pump. Absolutely silent. Great cost. Only downside is it's size.

It is a great pump, agree on the size. It is almost twice the size of my QuietOne I replaced.

My OR 6500 only raise about 1 degree considering the size of the pump (BIG). I was concern about temp at the beginnig but the tank is's been 79 morning - 81 at the end of the day.

OR are great pumps and so are ehiems. I like both they are about even in preformance. I like the ehiems, because the can be used either externally or submerged.
