BM250 Sump Size?
Was wondering if a BM250 would have any issues fitting into a standard 12.5" wide tank like a 29G or 30L?

My 250 fits beautifully into a 33g long sump.
In fact, there is width to spare. There is juuuuust enough room to fit it, and allow it to flood through the top without causing a mess outside of the sump. edit to add photos: http://www.d3f.org/misc/fish/90g/a08-bm250-1.jpg http://www.d3f.org/misc/fish/90g/a08-bm250-2.jpg http://www.d3f.org/misc/fish/90g/a08-bm250-3.jpg Last edited by King-Kong; 06/28/2007 at 11:09 AM. |

This was the information I was given when I asked about BM skimmers, so 12.5" is plenty. Just make sure your have enough length remainning for other equipment.
