Lifereef makes hang on skimmers or you could go with a Tunze doc skimmer which run inside of the tank.

From what i have seen and heard, tunze makes some nice skimmers that could do the job right.

They run inside of the tank but are very compact and don't take up much space at all. The pump is inside of the skimmer box so no pumps are shown, ect.

I would go with the 9010. The pump and the collection cup are both larger and you'll be alot better off. They also make an even larger doc skimmer but kinda large for a 150 gallon tank.

Tunze 9020

Recommended for aquariums up to 2,000 litres (528 US gal.) of salt water.
Dimensions: L125 x W226 x H460 mm (L4.9 x W8.9 x H18.1 in.)
230V/50Hz (115V/60Hz)
42 W; water throughput: 2,400 l/h (634 US gal./h); air capacity: 1,300 l/h (343 US gal./h).
Comprises two reactors for removal of foaming water.
Delivery in storage container 5002.25 (can be used as skimmate collector), with 2 x 40 cm (2 x 15.7 in.) drain hose and accessories for the operation in aquarium cabinets.
If the collector is far below the skimmer, we recommend 2 x 1075/2 accessories.

$685.66

They look fine in the tank. I don't have as of now since I don't have my tank set up and am still collecting the equipment for a new project. Here's some pictures of them but not really FTS.
