Heater ?
Good day everyone.. Do you use 2 heater for your tank as a backup? I was thinking to add another heater to my 72 gal tank so that in case 1 goes down the other will be working... I was thinking to set 1 at 80 deg and the other at 76 deg. so I will know if the 80 deg is malfunction or not.. please advise

Definitely use multiple heaters. Also, I would suggest running heaters on a controller, taking tank safety one more step.

also agree on the controller ive used 4 different brands ebo, visi, hydor, and now aqua medic by far the aqua medic stays at a constant it costed me over 80 bucks but it comes with a controller and a nice titanium heater well worth it. other then that really any brand of heater can be used but would recommend a controller such as a medusa or maybe a ranco.
