Unhappy Micro Bubbles

I've been up and running for about 3 months. Never had any problems with micro bubbles. I don't believe that it is a harmfull situation, ust an aesthetic concern. The problem statred mysteriously one day last week. I broke down the sump. The sump return and skimmer produce alot of bubbles, but they always did. Are there some typical causes and fixes that I should know?

If you lowered the water level at the sump, maybe dripping water is sucked in to the pumps with bubbles.
