Test kits for NH3, NO2, NO3
I went through a couple of these test kits when I was using freshwater for my discuss and decided to just bring a sample into the lab where I work to test it on a Nitrogen Anyalyzer instead. But I only needed to run a test weekly for my discus.. Saltwater seems to be more demanding so I decided to get some test kits this weekend for NH3, NO2 and NO3. They are pathetic! I think Seachem's was the worst.. I felt like I was handling uranium or something with those stupid little discs they have you use.
Anyone know of a good test kit to check NH3, NO2 and NO3? |

Try Salifert kits. Not the cheapest but they work for me.

I use the Aquarium Pharmaseuticals that are just ok. Salifert probalby everyoen will regard as the best kit. I personally have not used them but they are known as being the best.

I've had good results with Salifert and SeaTest-FasTest. The Red Sea kits gave me problems.
