Current USA 250W MH+39W T5's

I have 2 72"Orbit units and have had 3 MH bulbs turn into strobes and had to be replaced and now 2 of my T5's have died withing 2 months. I was wondering if this is a common problem on these units or did I just get unlucky? I would like to find out if I need to buy a lot more bulbs or send the units back?

Thanks
