Water?
I have a 35 gallon aquarium.
It is in its cycling process and amonia is at 0 Nitrite still kindda high I have put live sand into it about 10 days ago and it is completly settled. I also have base rock and some live in it as well. The water in the tank just seem dirty and yellow tinted> Is this normal? If not do you have advice on how to clear up my water? |

to help with the yellow tint you could always run carbon.

Water changes are also needed, even during the cycle.

Let it settle out. Run your filtration, skimming, powerheads and the like. If it isn't cleared up in a few days you can get some carbon. And a small water change wouldn't hurt.

Get a filter bag, put the carbon in, rinse it to remove fine particles and put the bag in a high flow area in your system.

Me and u r in the same boat buddy. What kind of filtration do u have? 10%-20% water changes once a week help. Skimmer too u gotta see the crap that it pulls out. Gotta empty my cup twice a day! But everything is normal u will see the nitrites go down depending on ur filtration. Just be patient.
