Tank finally set up: What starter fish is the best???
Well, My Dad and I finally got my 65gal set up today....and I was very uh, "frustrated" on which starter fish to get. I am planning to get one predatory fish; a long-nose hawkfish, and I want to know which starter fish I could buy that is non-aggressive, hardy, and won't get eaten by the Hawkfish. I was thinking of a Pavo Damselfish, but I'd thought I'd get your opinions and facts on this matter.
Thanxs for the help, silverfin ---------- I am my Father's Daughter.....reef wise...... |

Dittos. Throw a small piece of uncooked shrimp and some live rock in there and watch the tank cycle. You're a good 3 weeks out from putting fish in there.
