Preliminary Octo nw 150 mods...Hoping for some input

After about 4 1/2 hours I just got done reading the Octopus mod thread...yeah my eyes are buring and my head hurts...

So these are my Ideas for moding a nw 150 Octo Skimmer:

1. Mesh mod -gg mod got bashed IMO-
2. Roland's out put mod
3. Roland's 90 mod -port and polish-
4. 4" Pvc (approx. same length of skimmer body) that surounds skimmer pump -drain water flows directly to skimmer pump- hope that makes sense...
5. Venturi mod

I am interersted in atempting the recirc mod using a soldering iron to burn holes...any thoughts on that would be awesome~!

Am I on the right track??? Or on the wrong trail??
I have this feeling Im trying to do too much here...Maybe its because my brain is saturated with ideas and its too late to process them all...

Thanks all~!

Matt

Start slow, and do one at a time and wait a week in between. that way you really know which ones are making the imorovements. that way if something isn't performing like you want, you know what to go back and change.
